The pandemic has been a time of significant educational innovation for me. It investigated cutting-edge tools and technologies for increasing student participation in the classroom. However, some worried that student dishonesty would increase if technology were allowed in the school. However, because of the COVID-19 epidemic, educational institutions were forced to replace in-person instruction with distance learning after 2020, making the employment of technology in education an unavoidable requirement.

Online, you can find almost any topic. In today's internet-driven information world, you can find almost anything. Although neither the information nor the source can be trusted, they are great classroom aids. Students can browse the internet when not in class or with an adult.

Students get access to updated information via websites and electronic books. If people miss class, they can still learn.

Because there are more and easier-to-get resources. Textbook expenses have reduced in recent years since they're not as important. Fewer pupils buy textbooks. Electronic textbooks are popular. Digitalizing thousands of books.

Online coursework reduces the requirement for scholarships and grants. This causes tuition cuts. Today's students have unparalleled access to global courses. As people gain digital skills, they save money on transportation and utilities. Middle-class and working-class kids can afford an education.

  1. Learning with tech tools is more fun

Students once had limited access to educational materials. A plethora of technology is now available to everybody with an internet connection; they just need to know how to use it. These technologies boost students' learning passion( Eazyresearch, 2020). No matter how much a child dislikes a particular activity, there are numerous approaches to teaching it to them. Visuals like photographs, graphics, and videos make lessons more engaging.

To meet the needs of a diverse student body, today's educators draw from a wide range of pedagogical approaches and use a few standard resources. While there are many upsides to introducing technology into the classroom, there are also drawbacks. Some real and imagined disadvantages of employing technology in the classroom are outlined below.

  1. Using technology while learning can be distracting

When students find using the technology more interesting or inspiring than learning the material at hand, it can become a source of distraction1. Even technology-savvy students may have trouble focusing in class if they are constantly distracted by the proliferation of electronic gadgets. Maintaining student attention when lecturing from behind a screen may prove difficult.

  1. Young people's over-reliance on technology may lead to social isolation

The bad news is that spending too much time in front of screens reduces time spent engaging in real-world social interactions. It is well established that children's interactions with adults and peers contribute to the growth of their language, thinking, and social abilities. In order to learn and use many skills, including verbal and nonverbal communication comprehension and use, empathy development, turn-taking, and more, the face-to-face connection is essential. Children of all ages may experience social isolation as a result of their increasingly frequent use of electronic devices, which can have a negative effect on their technology to form and maintain healthy interpersonal relationships. In particular, this is true for younger kids.

It has always been possible for students to plagiarise the work of their peers. When introducing any kind of new technology, there is always the overriding worry about how much money it will cost. Introducing any form of new technology can result in financial burdens.

Whether you are for or against adding technology to improve learning, it's vital to explore all your options.
